                                                              AUCTION NOTICE
        The fresh date for conducting public auction of the standing trees lying within the premises of Sheep & wool development officer(SDO) , Hajin, Bandipora which has  been earlier called off by the auction committee shall now be held on Wednesday 07th  April (Wednesday) at  the same venue at 2:30 P.M.sharp. All other terms and conditions for the auction shall remain unchanged. However, minimum reserve bid fixed for the auction  including  GST & other taxes as applicable  is Rs 145000(Rupees One Lac Forty fiveThousand only).

The trainees showed a lot of promise  &  hopefully in days to come with the support of the Department they will  become self-employed & boost   their livelihood. There are 65 million sheep in India according to the 19th Livestock Census. Presently 80% of the sheep population is shorn by hand scissors.
